Anyone who ever saw the documentary "Cloud: Wild Stallion of the Rockies" knows all too well the fate of unprotected foals in the wild. But nature is not always predictable, and this video is an amazing montage.

I have a wild stallion, or ex wild stallion. hes's a darling, lives with the geldings, and plays with the foals over the fence if they happen to come near him on the way to the barn.
he did one day get into a paddock with them when a gate was left open, and didnt bother them at all either.
